Context
We designed an interactive installation for the Transfo Intiem Festival in Zwevegem, Belgium (as part of Het Warmste Week), exploring the theme of loneliness. The goal was to create a short yet meaningful experience that engages visitors and builds empathy through shared, personal expression.
Project Idea & Execution
The concept translates loneliness into abstract forms. Visitors create 3D objects via a mobile web app, representing their emotions, which are then displayed within a shared digital landscape. This evolving environment, combined with subtle data visualisations, reveals the diversity and individuality of the experience. The system creates a space where personal feelings become visible, collective, and open to interpretation.
